Healthy Mocha Frappe

Enjoy this frappe that has much less sugar but is equally as tasty, It definitely hits the spot! On a warm sunny day this is my go to!

Ingredients

  • 1 & a half cups coffee, frozen into cubes
  • 1 Tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • 1 & a half teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 quarters cup ice
  • Half cup half and half or dairy-free creamer
  • Milk of choice – one to one and a half cups!

Optional but also nice when added!

  • 2 tablespoon chocolate chips
  • Half teaspoon coconut oil
  • Whipped topping of choice

Instructions

  1. Freeze brewed coffee in a silicone ice cube tray.
  2. In a blender blend the coffee cubes, cocoa powder, sweetener of choice, vanilla, ice, and creamy liquid of choice. Start blending on low & as you blend, speed it up and add milk of choice as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  3. In a sauce pan over low heat melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil stirring until the sauce is a light drizzly consistency.
  4. Drizzle the chocolate along the sides of two glasses. Divided the Mocha Frappe between the two prepared cups or mugs. Top with additional chocolate if desired.
